Fresh Kitchen Children’s Cookery Workshop 31st May – (7-13yrs)

An exciting day for your little ones to explore and gain hands on cooking experience using the best organic food from Riverford. Open for 7-13yr olds from 09:30hrs to 15:00hrs this will be a fun packed foodie day.
The day will start by getting kitted out into aprons and chefs hats, followed by a thorough hand wash and a game or two to get to know each other, then you will commence creating the menu.
All creations will be enjoyed towards the end of the day with foodie games (covering food hygiene in a fun and interactive way) thrown in to keep everybody entertained and energised.
All food will be handmade by your little ones, (for example homemade pasta, bread and sauces). They will learn key skills in proving, kneading, chopping, slicing, roasting, tasting and enjoying! They will have enough for a main meal each with veggie snacks and dips to keep them fuelled throughout the day.
And there’s even more… included with the price of your ticket is a small Riverford veg box for you to try at home from Liz, from Riverford Horsham.
